 How do you raise or train your dog to become a fun loving, social and friendly companion and good canine citizen? That is what most dog owners want to know when they've brought home their new dog, be that a five year old lab mix from a shelter or an eight weeks old chihuahua puppy. The internet is full of information about this, but the information is often contradicting. 

 That's where this blog comes in. Here I will try to answer questions like:

How do you get the best and longest lasting results? Do you need to show your dog “who's boss”? Can you use positive reinforcement training techniques with aggressive dogs? Why should you use one technique and not the other?

As a dog enthusiast I will also write about other dog related topics, everything from everyday experiences with my Golden Retriever, to health issues for dogs.
