Weekend with 6 Siberian Huskies

Me, with my favorite puppy from Monica's kennel, Vega. She was the only piebald/pinto puppy born in the litter in November 2011, here she is 4 months old.

This weekend I've spent with Mads, Monica's family, and all of Monica's dogs, plus two more of the puppies born in November since their owner is competing in Finnmarksløpet and they needed somewhere to be during the competition. Finnmarksløpet is the northernmost sled dog race in the world and you can either participate in the 1000 km race or the 500 km race. The owner of the puppies is competing in the 500 km race with her 8 pure bred Siberian huskies. I wish her the best of luck! Below (and above) are some pictures from the weekend.

Mads and Noor really connected and became the best of friends this weekend. We are actually going to "borrow" her for a week or so in a few weeks.
